It is said that whenever the power of time becomes endangered by an unknown source that the keeper must recite a ritual of death to become reincarnated into an unborn being completely different than it’s original form. Thus, Alcaeus was created; a siren written in from ancient greek mythology. He is no simple creature; for he has the power to bend sexes and lure prey to their death with his song - whether by source of dreams or casual encounter. The secret underlying his birth must remain as so. If the secret becomes found by other supernatural entities, his life will be put in danger and he must make haste to recite the ritual and live once again as someone completely anew.  

Time is the sole killer of every living being. It was has witnessed countless bare their last breath and watched as their bodies decayed. No one can escape the reality of the cycle in which the living has been cursed. Do with time as you will but do it quickly.
